A flat-fit, straight-cut dress shirt for formal or smart-casual wear, made from a light brushed cotton and linen flannel. The check is large and soft-edged, with the blue fading into an ecru ground like a shadow. The brushing gives the cloth a gentle, slightly napped surface, and the linen adds air and a dry, natural texture. Sleeves, placket and sides are always sewn by hand, which gives the seams a softness and slight irregularity that machine work can’t copy.

The “Battaglia” collar has a pointed tip and a clean line. The cut is relaxed and without darts, with a 3 cm box pleat at the front. Two flap pockets sit on the chest, and the straight hem has side vents. The front closes with six buttons plus one at the collar, in a dark mother-of-pearl tone. The shirt is made in a four-stage construction process.
