Good Year Welt: it consists of combining the three fundamental elements that make up the Goodyear process, namely welt, upper and mounting insole; this seam never wears over time as it is subsequently covered by the bottom.

Cork is a very important natural material in this process because in addition to performing a technical function of filling the cavity created between the insole and the sole, it also performs the task of isolating from heat and cold and absorbing humidity. This material remains soft over time and thanks to body heat, skin moisture and body weight is shaped according to the pressure exerted by the foot thus creating a customized anatomical insole.
