The „Derby“ is a style of shoe characterized by quarters, with shoelace eyelets that are sewn on top of the vamp („open lacing“).

Derby from the cycled construction: its peculiarity is given by flexibility of the sole as the Goodyear Flex Construction featuring a hand-knotted heel seam. Made from extremely soft Buttero leather which is washed and after natural drying, the upper is hand polished with shoe cream and polish to create a very particular look.
Buttero Vegetable Tanned Leather comes from Conceria Walpier Tannery in Italy. They are well known for their premium vegetable tanned leathers and the beautiful colors are able to produce. Buttero is cut from the shoulder of the hide, which gives it a fantastic tensile strength and quality.

Cork is a very important natural material in this process because in addition to performing a technical function of filling the cavity created between the insole and the sole, it also performs the task of isolating from heat and cold and absorbing humidity . This material remains soft over time and thanks to body heat, skin moisture and body weight is shaped according to the pressure exerted by the foot thus creating a customized anatomical insole.
